Tarting It Up, Act II

Contractor: Enter, stage right
The disturbance continues.


So the house painting is a few brushstrokes away from finished, and now we're tearing up the back house. Might as well, since you can pretty much put your hand through that wall; dry rot, termites, it's a wonder it's there at all. There was a board that had big mushrooms growing out of it. But soon there will be solid walls, a nice new window and a little overhang to protect it from the rain. Mysteriously, and thankfully, large portions of the building are undamaged, so it's not as bad as we feared. Looks like it will be done before the rains come.
