Carlsbad shopping mall

Thankfully an uneventful journey to the airport from San Marcos; the freeways and traffic here is astounding. On the 15 there were 5 regular lanes and 2 express lanes in both directions all filled with fast moving cars. It was a relief to get to the rental drop off and hand the car over unblemished.

Earlier I'd been put to work cutting the grass for Chris and De'Shaun before popping out to the outlet mall at Carlsbad and Vons to collect the next consignment of Bacardi rum (the light one), which should last us until our next visit.

Today's blip is of the outlet mall, all outside of course as it's rarely cold here. I bought some white socks, leaving the old pairs (also bought here on previous visits) in the trash.

Then it was time to pack, squeeze everything and more into the suitcases and rucksacks, say goodbye to the dogs Babe, Reesie and good old Max and finally a fond farewell to Chris and DeShaun and the bump with is Landon. Always a sad time, never like it. But soon, all being well, the bump will be a little boy.
