Great weather for ducks!

So much for the " Red sky at night, shepherd's delight."
It has rained none stop today.
So as I had to go out I decided to go via the local pond to see if I could get a blip for today.
I didn't get out of the car, just wound the window down and took a few photos.
The ducks were certainly enjoying the weather even if I wasn't.
This one looks rather fine. I think it is a pintail.

Early blip as I am going to the Golden Anniversary dinner of our local flower club.
I am no longer a member, but as a past chairman I was kindly invited.
Looking forward to seeing old friends and acquaintances I haven't seen for a few years.
