The last drop of colour

A dry couple of days has allowed me to get on the garden and cut the grass but the back plot is always wetter and tends to grow in uneven tuffs.
Most of the colour has gone now but this remains of a hanging basket is still producing flowers.  This week is producing expensive items, Mrs M has to have some dental work (£200) and I have to have new glasses (£400).
Isn't it funny that they seem to come together !!!!!
