A visit to Volterra which is a surprisingly old settlement in Tuscany. Volterra, which lies across the hills about twelve miles away from the more famed San Gimignano has had people living on the steep hill since Neolithic times, but the city as we know it has Etruscan origins - as far back as 4th Century BC?!
