Mermaid....

After a very long day spent doing what felt like countless [ only 2 actually] performances of our Harvest Assembly and then an evening spent typing minutes for the diving club AGM I felt in need of some creativity :) N and I found this little statuette of a mermaid in Galloway and couldn't resist her. The pink rose is for the BCAM challenge.
A  really nice thing which happened today was bumping into an ex-student from  6 years ago who remembered me and came over to talk. From being a rather anxious and sometimes difficult little boy he has become a confident, very pleasant young man who is starting an apprenticeship soon. AND he seemed really keen to speak to me which was lovely!
