Autumn flood

A glacial dam released a large amount of water from the lake behind it. The water traveled into huge Kenai Lake and on into the Kenai River, causing flooded campgrounds and other property that was close to shore. This spot is where the Kenai River begins and Kenai Lake ends. 
This glacier is near Seward and the release happens every few years.
