My friend of the time was 19.


I like to think that I was overly mature and that was why she wanted me as a friend. It did not occur to me that it may be the other way round.

I was on a five day holiday with her family, which was exceptionally generous... to Wester Hailes.

And yes. A TV was thrown out of a window while we were there.

This was at the museum in chamber street ... I adored it then and it was this visit which drew me to Chamber Street when I returned to Edinburgh.

The friendship lasted maybe 9 months or
So... I think she outgrew me
