Following...

...the latest round of defence spending cuts, the Royal Navy's new submarine hunter-killer is put through its paces on the River Severn in Shrewsbury.

However I have my doubts about the validity of this exercise for, as far as I'm aware, no hostile submarines have ever been spotted this far upstream. The weir a mile downstream usually acts as a very effective barrier to most craft (both surface and underwater) on the river.
