Guernsey and beyond

Le Moulin de Quanteraine

After work Mr. M. and I headed into the "country" and went to St. Pierre du Bois (one of our Parishes) for a walk around the lanes there - or as a Guern would say "went to the country la"; if that's the right expression.

My blip helper took me to this last working water wheel in Guernsey, having been restored in 1990/1991 - but was still a functioning wheel well into the 1930's.

I was going to put this in mono - but colour does looks lovely.
