Bitter sweet day.

My 70th birthday today... I have had a week of celebrating with my different groups of friends and opted for a quiet day at home today, before family arrive on Saturday for a birthday dinner.
Sadly today E, who was so brutally attacked last week, died from her terrible injuries.
RIP Elaine, you are free from pain, and are with your beloved Ken, brutally murdered in the same attack.
An emotional roller coaster of a day....
