Standen House

It's been a lovely sunny day,  perfect for an afternoon at Standen House with Tamzin.  We met at lunchtime,  and went to the Barn Cafe for a bowl of soup and a natter, before visiting the house.  Then we strolled through the gardens, taking lots of photos and went back to the barn for birthday cake.

I planned to do my ironing when I got home, ready to do the packing tomorrow, but by the time I'd been to feed Gatsby, it was almost 5pm.  I put the washing on and cooked the dinner, but the ironing will have to wait until tomorrow.  

I've booked another adventure for next week - breakfast with the orangutans at the zoo!  Anyway, we're checked in and there's only two more sleeps!
