Abstract Thursday

I went to a girlfriend's place for lunch and Scrabble. We didn't quite finish the game which was very close as it got cut short. My artist friend rang me to say we needed to go to the studio where our ceramic figures had been fired. We could paint them there and leave them to be fired again. This saves having to transport them away and back again and also reduces the chance of damage. It was a lot of fun, particularly as the technique we used is experimental and we have no idea if they will turn out as envisaged. I can't wait to see how they turn out when we pick them up next week.
