October Hunter's Moon - Waning Gibbous

Lovely clear skies tonight so I decided to stay up and capture the Moon for my Friday Blip:)  At about 00.30 hours when I took this it was 99.8% its Full Moon size, so officially it is a Waning Moon, having reached the Full Moon state at 7.40pm Thursday evening!  The other name I like for it is the Travel Moon -  see HERE!   I think I might call it the Travelling Hunter's Moon:)  Have a nice weekend!  I'm off to bed now:)
