It was a very busy afternoon at the airport today with a number of different planes floating about.  I decided on this one for today’s blip just because of its strange appearance.  The big disc on top of it is part of its surveillance equipment.  The aircraft is an E-3D Sentry which is used in AEW (Airborne Early Warning) and AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) roles for the RAF.
