Blackcap

Yes, I know its cap is brown- female has a brown cap, male a black one. I walked around Deerness for hours looking for migrant birds. This bir, with two spotted flycatchers and two chiffchaffs was in the garden planted in a small roadside quarry on the land of Lighthouses Corner farm. Other migrants met included 10 wheatears, song and mistle thrush, first snow bunting of the year etc.
