Gathering?

There were many more Canada Geese than usual at the pond today. I wondered if they are gathering for the big Fly-away. The ones with the broken wings over-winter here.
Extra is scaffolding AND a ladder, under which I was brave enough to walk - ok, only because a lot of traffic came along.
