Spider time

Another damp day. but the spiders don't seem to mind, there are dozens in our ceanothus all catching anything which flies by.

The newly reopened garage is a similar predator. Set like a trap to catch passing motorists, it sells petrol 2p a litre more expensive than town and bits and bobs of groceries at double the supermarket rates. The locals, who used the old garage as a local shop are giving it a wide berth, and the new franchise owner is mystified as to why his takings aren't as promised.
