morning sun

Shining through the tangle of cosmos flowers and their feathery leaves. I suppose it's quite a messy picture but I like it and the way the sun shines through the big petals.

Helping Mr I this morning as he was sawing off the really long bits of the hawthorn hedge as it's grown way too high. Picked a big bunch of carrots and parsnips - they've done well this year and they're delicious.

Working on the computer in the afternoon sorting out pictures for a photobook.
