Anyone got an idea what this insect is?

I was out walking with my Grandad and he pointed out this little insect on the floor at first I thought it was a scorpion but not for my country which is England however it really did look like a scorpion also it's face had two massive spiky things coming out of it and when I got close to take the picture it squirted this white goo out of the spice you can see at the back of it.
Anyone have an idea what this insect is?
