Bonjour Montreal

September 23rd - Temp 29 -30

We had a nice lazy morning and breakfast outside by the lake when we finally got up.
Then a drive to Montreal where I will say goodbye to the hire car.
The journey into Montreal was an adventure, as the road network  around the whole city seems to be under repair. The satnav was frequently sending me to exits that were blocked and streets that were dug up, but eventually we reached the downtown drop off.
In town for a walk, I liked this Parisienne style metro entrance.
We went to a superb bistro restaurant in the evening...the best French onion soup I have ever had.
