Young Jackdaw

I noticed something a bit unusual about this Jackdaws beak the other week.
  But today I noticed that it took up a strange posture when eating.
The I realised that because of the protrusion of its upper beak section.It couldn't feed like others?

It has to almost lie down to pick up food.
  Shame I can't catch it and see if the vets could trim it for him.Or may be it will wear down in time?
