Morning Sunshine

A sunny morning in Nottingham so we spent some time exploring the riverside with all its sporting venues - football grounds, rowing clubs, the cricket ground (pictured) and watersports centre. Andy has lots of memories of these places from his childhood and recalled stories and explained how the riverside had changed through the years.

We treated ourselves to brunch at a lovely brasserie over looking a park busy with children playing. Then it over to Andy's uncle's house where we met his family and travelled to his auntie's funeral service and later attended the wake. A sad day but one which was filled with family and friends, love and smiles. Andy's auntie was always active and positive and such fun to be with. I shall always remember how kindly she welcomed me into her family.
