International Parkrun Day
I missed parkrun this morning as I took CyclopsJnr to Rugby Tots, but I went for a run this afternoon in my parkrun t-shirt to make up for it.
5km in 28:25 on a rather blowy and hilly route via Marine Drive.
This was my first run after completing Couch to 5k for a second time, using it to get back fitness and motivation after a difficult patch for my running. It's worked great - I'm now running 5k much faster than before, I feel much fitter, and I've lost over 10kg in the last two months!
Result.
Now lets see if I can keep it up - or even build on where I am now!
