day after October full moon

I was surprised to see such a big bright moon when I got up this morning. So I took a picture of it, and then looked up October full moon. Wow, so much to learn!
According to the Farmer's Almanac, this full moon is the Harvest Moon, because it is the full moon closest to the Northern Hemisphere's autumnal equinox. Usually the Harvest Moon falls in September, but not this year.
I also learned that the Harvest moonrise happens soon after sunset, which allows farmers to have more light to finish their harvest, and doesn't set until after sunrise.
The actual Harvest Moon was Thursday, Oct 5...but this is the morning moon of Saturday, Oct 7.
