Elegy in a country churchyard...

Now fades the glimm'ring landscape on the sight,

It's a long and frankly tedious poem.   Still, there are few "lowing" herds here, this is sheep country.   The ploughman of today has no need to wrestle with a heavy plough.   And there is no madding crowd.
