Saturday....

bet you didn't spend yours like us! We guddled in pine stumps to locate the very rare Pine hoverfly larvae, Blera fallax. The main shot shows two white wriggling larvae at the top with the sun reflected between, reflected blue sky and a reflection of one of the group smiling at the find! It was exciting!!!
I liked the colours here.
The extra shows the larvae out of water, but not for long.
