Glorious Grass

A native speices, that is planted in several spots here and there in my little bit of paradise, will take on a magical look on the very first frost. It reminds me of the Disney fairy with her magical wand, sprinkling sparkles over the flowers.
Unfortunatley, this bit needs to be removed in the spring. Such an aggresive grower, it even tries to grow underneath the swiming pool! Some have suggested that I 'burn' it, but that is not in the cards. I will chop it all down, cover it in landscape fabric for a year or two and hope for the best.
