A pink pinkie

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I will be showing my support for this with a pink pinkie.

This is a cause close to my heart. Mum Mouse has been going through treatment for breast cancer this year. She finished her course of radiotherapy on Friday, it has been a long slog and she is very tired.

Thanks to early detection of the cancerous cells during routine breast screening she will make a full recovery. As a family we are so very thankful for all the amazing advances there have been in recent years in the detection and treatment of breast cancer.
