State of the Art/Art of the State

From the mountains to the sea, this exhibition featured 657 works created by contemporary artists living in, of native to, the state of North Carolina. 

I addition, in another part of the museum, Created by Light, exploring 9 North Carolina museums photography collections of over 100 photographs by 73 artists, highlighting the pioneers of the medium and contemporary artists working in the field today. I just love art museums.

There were quite a few visitors admiring the works so it was difficult to get many good images. Check out a few EXTRTAS I threw in.

I didn't get any shots in the photo exhibit but I am going back to the museum when I can spend more time and it will be less crowded. I only live 5 minutes so I can walk.
