Territorial tensions

The Sino-Polish war... is a frighteningly real possibility. 

I remember the days when there was just the odd fisherman at the end of the pier. 
But the New Irish take their fresh fish very seriously. 
I have witnessed a few territorial clashes. 
On a number of occasions I was half expecting to see fencing matches with fishing rods, ending on the loser taking a freezing plunge 5 meters below.
