Kenilworth

We met Maureen and Ian for lunch at Loch Fyne in Kenilworth to celebrate Ian's birthday tomorrow. It was a lovely meal, crab pakora for starter followed by seafood tagliatelle washed down with a pint of their dark ale!

After leaving the restaurant Ann and I went for a walk on Abbey Fields with the intent of ending up on High Street and Costa, which we did.

The photo is of St. Nicholas Church, I think, on whose land the remains of the Abbey, dating from 1200, resides.
