Chicago Marathon

Just my luck what a very hot day. This is at the start 7.30am so not to bad but wow did the mercury rise. The support was incredible I even had a girl ask if she could run with me as my fan club was amazing!! To my horror nothing to eat that was salty and at 24 miles for the first time ever for me severe cramp kicked in at 24 miles and I could no longer run. Walked in the last 2 miles and somehow in pain ran in the last 200m. For me the time was not good but still within the target I set myself just grateful to get over the line. To Karen Alex and Louise who came out to support you were the difference in me getting a medal.
