Move Along Folks...

...nothing to see here. Just squaring up a piece of rough-sawn maple to see what's inside. Most of the work was done by the big power tools -- jointer, thickness planer, and bandsaw -- but you have to start with one surface flat enough that it doesn't rock when you're machining it.

it was very disappointing to find some worm holes -- no way of knowing how deep or far they go.
