Compensations
The evenings are drawing in. The girls went to the apple day fair in the village and came back with delicious pressed apple juice and a jar of honey.
Meanwhile, James and I went to play golf on a beautiful course near Banbury. James did well, I was the usual rubbish.
Meeting back at the house I was told that the honey and juice were on the boot of my car. Later I went out to load up and flipped up the bootlid without looking. SMASH! went the honey jar on the garage floor. I always hate myself when I accidentally break/drop jars/glasses/bottles. What a waste of a beautiful jar of honey.
Later, back in the house the compensations to the murky evenings and lost honey were delivered in the form of a log fire and drinks in front to the telly.
This is out of focus. I am still getting to grips with the new Fuji and had unwittingly moved the focus switch to manual. No wonder its a bit blurry but check out those gorgeous colours in the Fuji jpeg.
