Solace Day 6.

Locks have been a big feature of the last few days.  I enjoy operating the locks and rarely take a camera off the boat.  Having a camera hanging from you and winding a large metal windlass don't really go together.

For one or two locks I make an exception which does slow down the operation but gives me some new blip opportunities.  This shot shows Solace entering a lock ready to go downhill.  It also shows quite well how little space there is each side of a narrow boat as it enters the lock.
