Through the arbor at Kenwood House

This is a place, in the north of London, gifted to the people. It has a lovely stately home and grounds which merge into Hampstead Heath. We have always walked up here, the kids used to toboggan down the slopes in winter and we used to take blankets and picnic baskets and listen to concerts on warm summer's evenings. I met a friend for coffee in the little cafe this morning before taking a brief, constitutional walk in the grounds.
