Dyrafjeld

The small wooden sail ship Dyrafjeld has been floating some years. Built in 1889. Started her working life carrying fish and other goods up and down the coast of Norway. Later when modern explorers got hold of her, she sailed to New York, Boston, Great Lakes and Chicago. She has also sailed  tourists around the Canary Islands and pariticipated in the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race. I had to blip this nice female when I saw her in the harbour of Lysaker outside Oslo today. I wouldn`t have been a sailor onboard hundred years ago though.
