A Photoshop concoction from this evening's beautiful light. A seven shot composite of the old house built into the wall surrounding a large villa. And a heron that had passed over earlier on my walk - at the bottom of the steep alley that goes up to the top of the Mount in Fiesole - which claims to have more saints, or be more saintish, than any other mount in the world - here it is in Latin from a sign prohibiting all kinds of things in the holy place - Non est toto sanctior mons. This is a claim disputed by La Verna in the Casentino which uses the same Latin boast.
