Croyde...Devon
These bones are all that remains of a large whale washed up on Croyde Beach in 1915.
They sit on the cliff path up to Baggy Point now owned and managed by the National Trust.
Our last day today before we set off home tomorrow it's been a longer than normal holiday and I've had some happy memories to add to my list of things I've done with Roo.
I always said I'd take him away in a campervan not sadly the classic VDub we hoped for but the talbots done the job.
I've said over the last few weeks I'm not sure how much time Roo and I have together and I shed tears each time I think of the life we've shared.
He has seemed better over the last few days although only time will tell.
I'm back in work in a couple of days which will be hard but I hope Roo will settle back into his home routine soon.
