Just a berry
A nice day driving around westest West Yorkshire. Discovered a fabulous cobbled lane in Halifax (future photo venue), almost ran out of diesel, bought a sandwich in sunny Friendly and pootled over the top to Skipton.
There were several rivals for the berry in the photo collection of the day but it has to be a pretty spectacular rainbow to be different from all the other rainbows.
I have occasionally tasted Yew berries out of curiosity. They're very sweet but gloopy...and the seeds are potentially deadly if bitten or chewed.
Red Kites were everywhere: I should start counting them but probably at least 20 in the day. A cream-crowned Marsh Harrier and some Buzzards supplied variety.
