Keep it Simple
In contrast to the higglety pigglety of yesterday's shot, I was attracted to the simplicity of this wall today (despite the sign being squint!)
Day 2 over and first day of teaching practice for 4 of the 8 trainees. Trainees a mixed bunch and unusually for here in Cairo we have 4 with no experience at all and 4 with just a few years: we often have most with some experience and a few with quite a lot of teaching experience....still with me? It's a bit more like a typical Barcelona course. It's always 'funny' to see them teaching these first classes and see their reactions when what appeared to them to be so simple when we demo-ed it in input not seem quite so simple when they do it in class. I don't laugh of course, but keep my head down up the back and keep writing their feedback! There are already a few of the male trainees showing stress and competitiveness and they haven't even started yet. Oh dear.
For undercovercairo's info, one of the trainees is the husband of ED in TT.
