Mudgee Wine Extravaganza

First proper day of my holidays and it was another fun day!

Robert headed of fairly early as he had to work back in Leura.....Marty took the day off work so we hung around waiting for Andrea to get to Mudgee and then the three of us went out for a really nice breaky.

This gave those two the energy to try lots of wines as I drove them around a half a dozen wineries! Mudgee is great for wine tasting, the wineries are all a good size, the people friendly (although it helped that Marty is a local and knows alot of people around Mudgee)

The pictures that make up todays blip were sent to Robert throughout the day to make him feel extra special about being at work....cruel I know!

We then went out for a really tasty Indian Curry later that night with Martys family! It was a blast, the highlight being Martys youngest daughter Sophie who is 12! She was hilarious and was very interested in the new comer (me).....she thought I looked like Hagrid from Harry Potter/A giant leprechaun/Brook Shields & Hagrids Love Child? and proclaimed at the end of the night that we are "Besties"

It was a great day and after all the food and wine consumed and early night !
