The Brindled green

The brindled green Dryobotodes eremita, is another pretty autumnal moth that is a regular annual visitor to my trap.
It is reasonably common in England and Wales, and flies in a single generation in August and September.
Another clever piece of camouflage here, I think it resembles a mossy branch very well
