Acres of Gourds

We took a personal day today, a day just for the two of us to explore and enjoy San Diego County. It started with a trip to the Welborn Gourd Farm so my wife could immerse herself in all things gourd. There were racks, and racks, and racks of gourds for sale, but being tight on space she managed to control her purchases selecting only two to take back. The office sold a variety of tools and implements, which space again dictated few purchases. She did say the place inspired her and she is very much looking forward to getting home to try some new techniques. Went out to the coast, enjoyed lunch on the water and then drove down Hwy. 101 back to San Diego proper.
