Spout

Went to the bone dungeon today, for the first time in 6 months, or so. I was looking at some faunal bone from the north of England, but this lovely stag also caught my eye.

He formed the spout of a 13th century green-glazed jug (probably the jug would have held about three pints/1.5 litres, I'd guess)

Yesterday's Mystery Object/ bad photograph desperately overprocessed, was a young cucumber. Somehow I don't think it will be growing to eating size :(
