Armed with a couple of helpful pointers I managed to squeeze in a home visit to check on Pokey's progress this afternoon   I was very pleased to find her looking very chipper and happy, albeit a tiny bit creaky in certain areas.

As you can see she is in the very capable hands of matron Emsie and nurse Teddy.  I have no doubts that Ms Bagel will be fully recovered before you can say   sipping tea in a bath chair by the sea..
