Burner
Another morning run seems to have done the trick with burning the flu away. That ignited the will to get down to a full day of domestic duties. Lots of bathroom scrubbing and floor mopping.
Sat down to tea with the bake off; worrying if favourite contestant Stephen will not be on top form. Sat down post dinner to ice-cream and the 1990 It release on the tv. Got half way before calling it a day. It seemed a lot more frightening as a kid. The monster seems so docile now. I decided to watch this now, proper, braved by the fact that I’d recently watched the remake and thinking that I’d be able to face this (more frightening/true to the book) now. Seems so boring now. I’m a huge scaredy-cat, with a 1 horror movie per 3 years quota, which probably it’s not too frightening.
Pictured: flame in essential oil burner bought while in India because all attempts to take artsy bathroom brush bristle pictures proved much too lame.
