Poor auld Red, after three weeks in hospital he was allowed home but that only lasted five days until he had to go back in last week. It’s all to do with the continual volume of antibiotics they need to pump into him.

Good news today is that he might be able to shift to tablets rather than a drip so he could be home later in the week.

Me and Mrs Smith popped round for an hour or so to drop off some reading material and give him some respite from watching adult rated box sets and doing crosswords.

He’s holding up remarkably well and promised me he has a mammoth hospital based back blip series planned.
