The Taj Mahal of Eating Shelters

I have observed that even the most reluctant Scout gets excited about building big ambitious structures.

Other patrols had interpreted the challenge of creating a dining shelter on a more modest scale, so they were finished in good time, but these guys had even their younger members feverishly lashing before raising their massive twin A framed structure.

Good on you guys!
I had my own win, I produced and got the Patrol Leaders excited about the challenge of cooking on embers in a few weeks time. Scouting is a place where we try hard to get kids to break free from modern parenting.

A place to make their own decisions, take some risks, make mistakes and come out the other side with a tale to tell.
